Power tripped? We find the culprit.

A trip is your DB box protecting you from something — a faulty appliance, damaged cable, water in a socket. Forcing the switch up does not fix it. Finding the cause does. That is our specialty, 24 hours a day.

Flip the main. Satisfying, right? Now imagine it staying up — that is our job. (Spot the tripped MCB in the row above? So did we.)

Resetting is not repairing.

When a breaker trips repeatedly, electricity is leaking or shorting somewhere in your home. Each forced reset pushes current back into that fault, heating it further.

We isolate circuits one by one at your DB box, test with proper instruments, confirm the exact appliance or cable at fault — and show you before repairing it. Power restored circuit by circuit, proven under load.

The usual suspects

After thousands of power trip jobs across Singapore, the cause is almost always one of these six.

Faulty water heater

The single most common cause in Singapore homes. A leaking heating element trips the ELCB — often at night, right on schedule.

Damaged appliance or plug

An aircon, fridge, washing machine or kettle with an internal fault trips the circuit each time it draws power.

Aged or damaged wiring

Old insulation breaks down and leaks current. Common in resale flats and older landed homes never rewired.

Water intrusion

Rain, a leak from upstairs, or condensation reaching a socket, light point or external wiring.

Overloaded circuit

Too many heavy appliances on one circuit — added aircon units and kitchen appliances on old wiring.

The breaker itself

Sometimes the ELCB or MCB is simply worn out and trips without a real fault. We test and replace it on the spot.

Common questions

Why does my breaker trip at the same time every day?
A pattern points to a specific appliance — very often a water heater on a timer, or an aircon compressor kicking in. Mention the timing when you call; it helps us find the fault faster.
Can I just keep resetting the breaker?
No. It is tripping to protect you from a current leak or short. Forcing it repeatedly can overheat wiring and, in the worst case, start a fire.
Only half my house has no power. Still a power trip?
Yes — one circuit tripped while others are fine, which actually narrows down the fault. Tell us which rooms are affected.
Do you repair on the same visit?
In most cases yes. Our vans carry common breakers, points and parts, so typical faults are repaired the same visit after you approve the price.
My ELCB trips whenever it rains heavily. Why?
Rainwater is likely reaching outdoor wiring, an external light point or a gate motor. Genuine safety issue — keep that circuit off and have it checked.
